St. Alban's Women (SAW) Bible Study and Fellowship Schedule 2023-2024:
The approaching Fall Season means the appearance of pumpkin spice everything and the start of the St. Alban's Women Bible Study calendar for 2023 - 2024!
Just a reminder for those considering St. Alban's Women Bible Study and for our regular seekers, SAW Bible Studies are held the Second and Fourth Tuesdays of each month beginning September 26, 2023, from 7-9 pm.
New this Fall: we will be meeting in person in the Church Fellowship Hall and will continue to offer a Zoom Attendance Option. The Zoom Link will be emailed to everyone prior to the meeting regardless of your attendance preference.
What will we be studying? On 9/26 we will begin Part 1 of a 5-part study called "O Come, O Come Emmanuel". A study of this beloved carol and the scriptures inspiring the verses will prepare us for the Advent and Christmas seasons. The dates of the study are 9/26, 10/10, 10/24, 11/14, 11/28. Materials will be provided.
In 2024 we will begin a video Bible Study called “Better: A Study of Hebrews” by Jen Wilkin. In this study of the Book of Hebrews, we will see how God “provided something better for us” in the person of Jesus Christ (Heb. 11:40). We will be studying Hebrews in the context of the entire Bible, learning how to place our hope and faith in Christ alone. The dates of this 10 session study are 1/9, 1/23, 2/13, 2/27, 3/12, 3/26, 4/9, 4/23, 5/14, 5/28. Materials will be provided along with a video link for our Zoom attendees.
