Sunday School Classes Resume
Children ages five through eighteen will return to Sunday Classes on Sunday, September 13th, when teens and elementary children will gather together to explore “the armor of God” through Bible stories, crafts, science experiments and drama.
The fall curriculum, September through November, will focus on the following foundational Bible stories:
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the Fiery Furnace
David and Goliath
Mary’s Journey to Bethlehem
Jesus Walks on Water
Midnight Praise with Paul and Silas
Students will study virtues exemplified on the “armor of God” as they enjoy these special stories. Truth, justice, peace, faith, and salvation are seen in light of Ephesisans 6:11-18, with emphasis on the banner verse, “Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power.”
Weather permitting, classes will be held outside, with appropriate social distancing and other safeguards suggested by the CDC during the coronavirus pandemic.
We would love to welcome your family to these exciting classes. For more information, please call the church office (724-325-2727) and leave a message for Diane Kaufmann, Sunday School director.
